By purchasing an item listed for sale on this website, you agree to the terms and conditions listed below. Please read the following information thoroughly to ensure that you understand ALL the information explained below.

All content appearing on this website is the property of Greensboro Collector’s Armory. Photos, descriptions, and any other content displayed are not to be used without the permission of GCA. 

 

Exception: 

We realize that many collectors and historians utilize online forums to authenticate potential purchases. GCA will allow its customers to post its images to online forums for the sole purpose of authentication. We want all of our customers to feel confident in the items they are purchasing to minimize returns and ensure that we provide the best experience and service possible.

Greensboro Collector’s Armory is dedicated to the preservation of history. The items offered for sale on our website are sold strictly for their historical significance and are not meant to glorify the regimes or political ideologies they once represented. Please do not confuse collectors and historians with sympathizers.

 

Guarantee:

Greensboro Collector’s Armory does its best to provide you with original period items for your collection. We try our very best describe all items to the best of our ability and ensure the authenticity of all items offered for sale. If a mistake is made, we will do our best to correct it in a timely manner. If you feel as if we have made a mistake, or have incorrectly described an item, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to address any concerns. 

 

Item Availability:

Items listed on this site are sold on a first come, first served basis. The first person to contact us about an item will have priority on that item. Once an item is sold, it will be marked as such on our website. If an item is marked SOLD, please do not contact us asking if it is available. 

 

How to Purchase Items:

To purchase an item, please email us with the name of the item and the address you would like it to be sent to. If the item is still available, we will contact you with a quote to the desired destination including fees and any additional insurance and signature confirmation for the item, if requested. 

 

Payment:

At this time, Greensboro Collector’s Armory is exclusively using PayPal to process orders. In some cases, we may accept a USPS money order, depending on the particular item. This provides maximum protection to me as a seller and to you as a buyer. Please do not ask us to take credit card or other forms of payment other than what is listed above. 

 

PayPal fees:

Please note that PayPal currently charges a 2.9% fee plus $.30 per transaction. This amount will be added to the final value and will be included in the quote.

 

Postage: 

All items sold by GCA are shipped through the United States Postal Service as either priority mail or fist class package depending in the item.

 

Package Insurance: 

Insurance can be added to any item(s) on our site. It is the BUYERS responsibility to request additional insurance on the item(s) purchased. Greensboro Collector’s Armory is not responsible for any packages lost through the United States Postal service.

 

Tracking:

All items sold by GCA will come with tracking. Once payment is received and the package is turned over to the postal service, the buyer will receive a follow up email containing the tracking number for the order.

 

Inspection Period: 

All items sold by GCA comes with a three-day inspection period. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please reach out and we can make arrangements for a return. Please see the returns section below to view the terms and conditions. 

 

Returns:

Greensboro Collector’s Armory is happy to accept returns assuming it meets the following requirements:

 

  • The return is requested within the three-day return window as stated above. 

  • You have (reasonable) suspicion that the item is not original to the period as described. 

  • The item was damaged in transit to its destination as a result of packing, not mistreatment by the US postal service or its employees. 

  • Item is returned in the same state that it was originally sent. Any item(s) that are returned in altered, modified, or damaged state will not be accepted, and will be returned to the customer. 

 

Any and all postage costs incurred for returns will come at the expense of the customer.
